Kelly Murphy

Whether I’m on a rocky beach, a trail, the edge of a pond, or a foggy highway, nature is where I find my inspiration.

I’ve always been intrigued by how things went together, from the flow of
grout lines in stained glass, the layering of paint on canvas, to pattern design for fabrics.

I grew up in Nova Scotia, graduated from the College of Art and Design. Moved to Newfoundland and raised a family. During those years, through many commissioned works, I’ve been encouraged to continue my art with various techniques and mediums.

You can find my studio in Cap Pelé, New Brunswick, where the uniqueness and delightful quirks of this place is inspiring my most recent work.
Enjoy.
